Heroic Baleroc down!

It's time now to unta-te ourselfes and start working on the might of Ragnaros Heroic.
We are not affraid of him, we don't care if we wipe alot, that's why we are here for, it's to have fun!
The only thing standing in our front is our time constraint.
For example this week, our first raid was on Monday, the exact day we killed Baleroc, tooking us 10 +/- wipes for our melees to figure out not to touch each other with tormented.
We chose to use 3 Healers, to make it a dps race, instead of a healing race.
So with this, i will leave you the video of our kill on Baleroc.
Because we were still on our early try's we felt the need to communicate alot via mumble, if you can understand Portuguese, go ahead and have a laugh
Beth'tilac Heroic down!
by Salpicona, 124 days agoWe skipped Baleroc, and decided to try Beth'tilac, she proved to be very difficult before the nerf, so we were affraid of trying her again.
But the nerfs are here, so with just 10 wipes we managed to kill her, obviously with the 100k wipe in the mix.
We were used to 2 healing everything, but for this fight we decided to try 3 healing it. It proved to be a good bet, since the damage is quite spiky, even after nerf. For the spiderlings/broodlings we used a hunter and a frost dk killing them and soaking them. The 2nd phase is quite easy, since there is no change, just a little more damage.
We now stand 5/7 Heroic, Beth'tilac was a 10man Alliance 1st aswell.
Next boss is Baleroc, right on time of the PTR.

Heroic Alysrazor Down!
by Salpicona, 127 days agoFirelands nerfs has kicked in, making the raid more easy then ever.
We started training for Alysrazor 1 week prior to the nerfbat. While we could have downed her before the nerf, we were only doing 1 to 2 raids a week so we didn't had time for her.
We still managed to wipe 10/15 times before the nerf, wich hurt us alot on the post nerf, because we were so used to the Tornados speed, that we were having difficulty's not running directly into them,
.Post nerf, it took us 6 wipes for everyone to adapt themselves to the mechanics of the fight.
Overall pretty easy fight, mostly because of the nerfs, thus grabbing the Alliance 10man 1st on this boss on Heroic Difficulty.
We had Panzer destroying the meteors on 1st phase, while Phibrizzo our fire mage was spamming their pyroblasts up in the air, and destroying the boss with his ridiculous Combustion ticks. Our Fury Warrior and Rogue were interrupting the Brushfire's with stuns, minimizing the fire things to avoid on this fight.
Next should be Baleroc, since the dps race isn't anymore a dps race.

Heroic Majordomo Down!

The last boss before Ragnaros... With just 20 wipes we managed to down this boss, less then Ryolith (around 40 on ryo), making him one of the easyest boss of Heroic Firelands. Well for now, since the nerfbat on Fireland bosses is coming!
The hardest mechanic for us were managing the burning orbs on the cat phase. Since we had more then enough dps to reach the enrage timer, we decided to "cheat" a little bit, using the melees on the orbs (the boss only leaps to players based on their spec rdps/heal).
So the first time we passed the orbs phase without anyone dying, we managed to kill him.
There were a little complications to the end of the fight, but with the help of our "off-tanks" we managed to kill him, grabbing us Alliance 10man 1st on this boss.
We now stand 3/7 on heroic, next boss should be Alysrazor, if only we had more time...

Heroic Ryolith Down!
by Salpicona, 145 days agoSo no kill screenshot, like usual. We don't like to pose for the camera
But we do have a wonderful Resto Druid who takes care of frapsing the videos, cause most of us have crappy computers :P
A nice kill it went down after just 3 wipes on that night.
We spent about 2 nights before, wiping for no real reason, because we were trying to use a very different strategy than in normal mode, not realizing that the hard mode isn't that hard

We should attempt Ryolith next, but who knows.

by Salpicona, 169 days agoSo with Ragnaros down this marks the end of the Normal Modes.
While we do plan to do hard modes, especially Shannox, we will take it slowly.
